If you are looking for delicious experiences in Tsukiji, my tour is the best choice for you because I am the No.1 expert who knows everything about Tsukiji gourmet information.
I have been active in the mass media field as a Tsukiji Fish Market advisor, and have written many books about the market's restaurants and the market itself. My books have received global recognition. I also became champion in a famous Japanese television series called "TV Champion" for my deep knowledge of the market. People now call me the "Tsukiji King".

Super good guide to have enriched my Tsukiji Visit
Very informative and well planned guide.
The tour started from Main entrace and walked throught the Inner Market.
The aisle we walked, the shop explined, the picuter showed; all had meanings.
This is not my first visit to Tsukiji, actually have visited several times in past 6 months.
Even a local Japanese like myself learned a lot. I will enjoy Tsukiji much more when I return next time.
Thank you very much, Tsukiji King-san.
Atsushi was an excellent guide! Without his help it would have been very easy to be overwhelmed by and/or get lost in the market due to its sheer size. But Atsushi was able to hit all the major spots throughout the market, took me to shops to find items that I was looking for, and also provided a lot of historic background info along the way. I highly recommend booking this tour if you're interested in visiting the market.
Wonderful! Exceeded our expectations
We loved our tour of the Tsukiji Fish Market Tour with Atsushi. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and current operations of the market. The private aspect of the tour was great because it was at your own pace, you could always hear Atsushi, and ask him questions. It felt like we were being shown around by a friend, not a large touristy group.
Our sushi lunch was probably our favorite authentic sushi experience we had in Japan. Atsushi even helped us with other aspects of our trip outside of the tour. We visited around the NYE holiday, so he called a store that we wanted to visit to make sure they were open before we left, and gave us recommendations for ramen spots, and translated for us at a knife store. These above-and-beyond things make us wish could give Atsushi six stars - we would highly recommend!
Excellent tour, excellent English
The guide was very knowledgeable. the tour was well planned and presented in excellent English. Will recommend to others.
Tsukiji Fish Market Tour
We appreciate Mr. King's tour. He patiently explained types of toro, history and cooking ingredients. We love the sushi restaurant he recommends!
Our family was taken around the fish market by Atsushi who met us at the Tsukijoshijo station. He took time to explain to us about the inner and outer markets and some of the history surrounding the fish market. He then took us around both markets, including the fruit and vegetable market, ensuring that we got experience the locals at work and answering all of our questions. Atsushi explained the importance of watching out for the locals travelling around the market at high speeds, delivering or procuring fish. This was a really informative and fun experience and at the end of our tour we enjoyed the best sushi we have ever tasted.
Very good guide pleasure
Couldnt have gone around without him!
The Tsukiji King is as knowledgeable as everyone says he is in the reviews. He had a guidebook with visuals in regards to where we were going and how the market was broken down. He took us to various food places and was very patient with all our needs. The restaurant he recommended and reserved to us was fantastic. Im sad to hear that Tsukiji Market will be moving but then that means new researching and a plan for the King! If I come back to Japan and want to check out the new market, I will make sure to contact him again!
