Hi, I'm aruru, and i'm here to introduce you to a new activity called Runpic!
The word Runpic comes from a combination of "picnic" and "run". It's a new kind of run whereby you run reely in the streets of Tokyo and stop anytime you want to enjoy delicious food or interesting things.
I was born and raised in Chuo, and there are just so many interesting places to see here! So I would like to introduce my hometown to everybody. I started as a guide for Runpic a few years ago and have guided hundreds of people to date
So whichever part of the world you come from, if you happen to be staying in Tokyo, come say hi and I will help you enjoy as much as possible.

A great time despite the rain!

Aruru was wonderful. He took me around Tokyo and showed me some things I would have never found on my own. Although we had pretty yucky weather, this was still a very fun and relaxing way to see some different neighborhoods in Tokyo.
It was also very easy to communicate with him before we met, and he gave very clear directions about where to meet (and then was patient when I ran late).
Finally, I left with some delicious pastries!
Thank you so much, Aruru! Highly recommend. :)

    A morning to remember

Aruru was a wonderful running guide. He shown us a lot of the city that otherwise would be definitely missed and told us a lot of interesting facts about the city of Tokyo. The pace was easy and we were blessed with a gorgeous day for a run. If you are into running and want to have a different type of city tour then i definitely recommend Aruru's tour.

Aruru was a great guide and runner! He kept at a good pace for me even while I was a bit sick. We ran around the city and had a plastic bottle of Ramune which was a great thirst quencher. Along the way he kept me informed about where we were and what the area was about. I really loved it and would do it again if ever I'm back in Japan. Also to top it off was the awesome traditional Japanese uniform he wore. It made everything spot on. ha!

Excellent way to see the city

I have been visited Tokyo for three times, and this is the first time to see the other side of Tokyo using running foot! Other than the shopping malls, commercial buildings and tourist attraction points, you can see many transitional streets, old stores, I am also able to see people preparing for the three- day festival! This run is so amazing! Aruru is a very nice guy and able to use fluent English to show you the city!

Had a great run with Aruru!

He was very informative, among the rest took me through the old fisherman's quarter where we saw the carriable shrines for he summer festivities. Also did a great job adapting to my pace. Would recommend immensely to any runner

    Fantastic way to see Tokyo

if you love to run or jog or simply shuffle and want to run in Tokyo, get Aruru to run with you and you will not only get a decent workout in, you will also get to see Tokyo. 12+km or running and also a lot of walking as you see the city and learn about Tokyo, Aruru makes a great guide. My son who isn't quite 9 yet also came and Aruru made sure to accommodate him as well.
