Important Information

Please note that generally, Japanese hot springs or Onsens are enjoyed naked.
Bigger tattoos must be covered.
Please ask if you are unsure about going to the hotspring or if you have a noticable tattoo.

Please be advised that Shinjuku station is one of the busiest stations in the world and can feel like a maze to those foreign to Japan. Although the Keio Plaza hotel is located close to the station, be sure to come out the right exit (JR west), and if you are directionally challenged, give yourself plenty of time to find the hotel.

Again, please come prepared with the right equipment and be sure to be in shape!

What you need to bring

athletic t-shirt, long sleeve thermal, warm fleece, trekking pants, rain jacket, rain pants, hiking boots, wool socks, gloves, warm hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, head lamp, 25 L back pack and a towel/change of clothes for after the hot springs. Equipment list pdf will be sent out by a FMG representative upon booking of this tour.
