We are Roppongi Kaguwa, a unique Japanese-style cabaret show restaurant with colorful and attractive performances held in Roppongi, Tokyo. We recreate the Edo period atmosphere, and our restaurant has a total of 186 places where you can enjoy the spectacle while eating and drinking.
The show is a mix of traditional art of geisha, samurai, kimono and latest technologies. The exotic combination creates a new type of entertainment unseen before.
Roppongi Kaguwa is a must-visit place if you're interested in Tokyo's night life. We're waiting for you!

So much fun!
This show had a variety of elements from love story to comedy to serious battle scene. I enjoyed it very much. Before the show starts the actors and actresses come around to each table and talk to guests. They give out a card with their photo. Also they are very nice about taking photos. I also liked that drinks were included in price of my ticket. I did purchase an appetizer and it was reasonably priced and good. I would definitely see this show again when I visit Tokyo if it's running.
Incredible and moving!
This was one of the most spectacular performances I have ever seen. It was a bit difficult to find the location, but once we did, every part of the experience was wonderful. I would highly recommend this show to anyone living in or visiting Tokyo. We were ushered to our seats and offered food and drink right away. Everyone working at the club was attentive and kind. The performers, costumes, music, lights, moving stage... all of it was something I will never forget. We are greatly appreciative and thrilled that we were able to attend.
Enjoyable without understanding Japanese
I was surprised to find that the audience room wasn't really large which allowed my friends and I to get close to the stage. Sadly we were at the front and way off to the side which meant we were straining to see parts of the show.
The entire show was done in the Japanese language so if you care about understanding what's being said and don't know Japanese don't go. Otherwise I found the show to be very well done, the actors were really good and the variety of skits kept everything fresh.
The customer service was also really good and were quick to respond to your needs. I would just say that come dressed decently and enjoy the show.
Nonsensical and random show, well performed but one to miss
The performers work hard to make a varied show interesting but it has too many elements that just don't work well together. I would skip this one
Amazing show! Great food! Wonderful experience!
This show was far more amazing that I originally expected. I really expect a show with just dance and music, but the moving platforms of the stage was a really great addition and the actors are all amazing! Before the show they past over each table to salute and give you a card so you can identify them later in the show; some of them talks on english so you can have a quick conversation before. The food is great also and the "all you can drink" is a great addition to the menu. The ambience of the local is so Japanese that we really enjoy all the time we have there. When we leave the place there was a really heavy rain over Tokyo and we doesn't have umbrellas, but the manager give us one as a gift (quite unexpected) so we really enjoy all the time of this espectacular show (even the exit!). Many people can doubt because there are some transgender actors, but I assure you: it really doesn't matter! The show is great, the food is gorgeous and everyone is so nice that if you have concerns about that topic, you will lost them in just a minute. I definitely totally recommend this experience and place! A must if you go to Tokyo looking for something different and most of all: something great to remember!! :D
Overall we had a great time!! Some parts are hilarious while others are entertaining...one bad point, we cant understand Japanese, so we were a little confused over the story telling. Would recommend the show to others
Even better than Robot Restaurant
My three friends and I went to this show and we had a BLAST! The dancers were incredible. They accomplished lightning fast costume changes, nailed every dance move with style, mastered the moving stage (which added such an amazing dynamic to all the stories the dancers performed) and it took my breath away. My face hurt from smiling so much and my hands hurt from clapping so much! The skits ranged from high octane fun to artistic to deeply emotional (I got teary-eyed twice), all with traditional Japanese beauty. It was classy and the dancers were beyond talented and enthusiastic. There is a portion at the end where they announce each performer and you can hold up a ¥1000 tip for them - not like a strip club, but like giving flowers to your favorite actor. One of my top five experiences of three years of living in Japan. I would give it six stars if I could!
I picked this show since it seemed more interesting than the Robot show. The place was easy to find using the map they sent after booking. We had the 10pm show and got to theater about 9:15. Once we arrived the Staff confirmed our booking and took us upstairs to the seating area. The manager came over and brought the drink menu and some snacks. He also explained the drinks were included so we can order what we like. It's a set list of drinks but the staff was very attentive and ready to take next drink order. I'm glad we got there a bit early since we got a good seat and were able to meet some of the performers before the show started. A tip: Wish I thought of this at the time but this is good time to ask the performers if you can take picture since they are dressed up in Yukata etc. Some only know a little English but if you have your camera out and say "Shashin"(Shah-SHEEN) they should understand. I was blown away by the performance. It's a great show of lights and music and dancing. The moving stage was nothing short of incredible. The dynamics it added to the show were something I'll never forget. You can't take pics or videos during the performance but at the end you can. We also were invited to the stage after the show and received a picture with the whole cast. It was really cool. This is highly recommended show if you are going to be in Tokyo(Roppongi area). It was one of the Highlights of my trip.
Really great show, the dancing was amazing, the performers are super friendly and come round to say hi before the show. We were invited up to have our picture taken with the dancers and now have an awesome momento. If you buy all you can drink please note it seems that these can only be ordered in the hour before the show. Would definitely recommend!
My partner and I really enjoy cabaret shows and wants to experience some in Tokyo for our anniversary, so I booked this without his consent and we were so astonished by the show and all the friendly hosts. First of all the show itself is quite amusing and with the moving stage it becomes more lively, at the beginning most of the performer came to each guest table to introduced themselves. We've met Karen and despite knowing that we're from Indonesia (won't be able to be a frequent guests) She still enthusiastically greet and talk with us and at the beginning i think it was the manager that ask us if we want to take a photo with all the performer at the end of the show, i didn't think much about it as I think she meant that every guest has the opportunity to take a picture.. but I was wrong, at the end of the show we were called to the stage and have our pictures taken and was given to us as a postcard. We were so surprised for the extra services that they give and for sure will recommend our friends to come and watch this show. Thank you Oiran-Za for the experience!
