Amazing adventure with amazing company!
This tour is amazing and great for anyone who wants to get away from the busyness of the city for a day. The trek to the shrine itself is an experience not to be missed. Beautiful scenery, rope bridges, trees, flowers. I will point out that the climb through the cave to the shrine could be physically demanding for people who are very unfit. But, it's so worth it! Great day and great company with my guide Akiko, she was knowledgeable and VERY generous with her time.
An Amazing Experience with a Great Guide
Akiko was an amazing guide. She was knowledgeable and well traveled, able to not only explain interesting cultural and historical facts, but also relate them to non-Japanese concepts to make them easier to understand. I would highly recommend this experience and Akiko as a tour guide for anyone who has already done all the touristy spots in Osaka and is looking for something different that not even many Japanese people have experienced.
