A little short but we did get to see 2 whales
The email confirmation and the website state its 3 hours, we left the dock at 130 and we docked back by 3pm. We did get to see a couple of whales which was fun but it was definitely disappointing to end early. Thanks..
What a great tour and the guides will try to get you close enough without distrupting the magnificent creatures. Only sad part was not seeing a whale fully breach but this is definitely worth the trip!
After we took off from Chatan Marina, it was about a 30-min boat ride to our destination. There were several other tour boats in the area and the captain did an amazing job of tracking them and the whales. We were worried about actually getting to see them, but boy did we! There were two of them that seemed to be "showing off" just for us. They would jump, wave, flip and swim right near out boat. We got plenty of great photos and it was an amazing experience overall. Govoyagin is the best website I've found for these tours!
