I came to Okinawa to visit my son who is in the AirForce. I was surprised that he and his buddies never heard of the Blue Cave. We had a great time, really enjoyed the tour, and the pictures our tour guide took for us. My son says he will definitely bring his friends back for a snorkeling and kayaking day. I highly recommend.
Good tour! Would recommend going with Aruguide for an English tour!
We were excited about going to Blue Cave and also being able to kayak there. From the start Aruguide were very accommodating - we had read that sometimes the cave is closed if it is too windy and we had asked Aruguide to confirm our arrangements the day before our tour so we would know what to expect, they came back as requested. The wind was too strong on the day to kayak to the cave but we could still go for snorkeling so we kayaked around the beach before being transferred by car to the cave. The kayaking portion was pleasant and our guide Maco was great with trying to make it interesting for us given the change in itinerary. There was a lot of people in the cave and outside as it was the start of the busy season but still a great experience. The cave was smaller than we'd imagined and very crowded so we had to wait in line for the photos and the snorkeling outside was probably the better part of the tour but was good to tick the cave off the tourist list. Overall good experience made better by the private tour for the two of us.
Fantastic Private Tour!
This was a fantastic private tour with very friendly tour guides! We had MachE and Wei (spelling?) and they were the BEST! The weather was not the best on our tour day, but our guides made up for it. They were informative, fun and knowledgable. They catered to everyone's abilities in our small group ranging from beginner to expert levels. If you want the best guides and a seamless tour, choose this company!
We had a great time with our guide, Matchi. She went out of her way to show us cool things in the water. The kayaking was also really fun! Pay the extra 2500 yen for the guide to take pics - it's worth it!
Kayak and Snorkelling
Great time of kayaking on the Okinawan waves with our kind guide "Maco" !
The tour was amazing and memorable. The tour guides were friendly and personable throughout our time. Couldn't be any happier with it.
Really enjoyable experience
Had fun kayaking and snorkeling today. Pity weather conditions did not allow us to go to the Blue Cave, but the snorkeling was great and Maco was a great guide - very friendly and patient. In fact everyone at Aruguide were really nice and helpful. Hope to have the chance to go back and experience the Blue Cave in future.
The Weather was too choppy to go to blue cave so we went snorkelling nearby instead which was still quite enjoyable, but ultimately a bit of a let down.
Good snorkelling, goood kayaking, good english, good equipment.
Great experience and wonderful guides!
We had the kayaking and snorkeling experience. Our guides were wonderful and could also speak English and were very clear and patient. I get seasick/carsick easily, and the waves and water were pretty turbulent, so I recommend that you prepare accordingly if you're like me with anti-nausea meds. It was really fun, though, and our guides taught us how to whistle by blowing through shells! Would definitely recommend and do it again.
