In this activity, you will walk the main street in Okinawa ‘’Kokusai Street’’ with a local student who likes to take tourists around. I’ll guide you, so you can look around the street efficiently!
You can choose places you want to go from the list below, but if you have any requests, just let me know. It’s flexible.
- sata andagi restaurant which is not known even among locals
sata andagi is one of the most popular local product in Okinawa. It is a donut which is very crunchy outside and warm inside. It is the best to eat when it’s just cooked. Let’s walk around with sata andagi in your hand!
It is a famous sightseeing place. You can see various kinds of Okinawan foodstuff, like fish and pork. It’s very interesting.
It is located a little far from Peace Boulevard(Heiwa-dori). You can find many pottery shops with Shisa (lion-shaped roof ornament of Okinawa) and Tsuboya ware on this street.
The time required: about one hour
Price: 3000 yen per person
I’ve done this many times with my foreign friends, but I just can’t get enough of it! I’ll take you to the best place!
There are tons of Okinawan snacks! Here is the best place to buy souvenir.
A famous soba restaurant at Kokusai Street.
I’ll take you to my best push! I’d like you to know our great Okinawan Zenzai. (Zenzai is a traditional Japanese sweets which is azuki-bean soup with rice cake.)
I would like to make a flexible tour for you depending on your mood. I hope you can have a great time in Okinawa! I’m looking forward to seeing you soon!
