Early morning call in Kyoto 😎

Me and my family had a good exploration on this tour with Niall. He made our family relaxed and comfortable. We had a good time talking and listening to him on things needed to know about Kyoto and other trivial things. Fushimi Inari and the Arashima Bamboo Grove were beautiful.Being on these 2 beautiful places is a must for every visiting traveller. And having Niall as our tour guide and a new found friend makes the whole tour even better😎😎

Early bird gets the WORM! and best VIEWS!!!

This is an awesome tour. Definitely worth it. Went on a private tour with Emilien. Was incredibly informative and insightful about Japan culture and history. Was very flexible and down to earth an awesome guide. The early start is definitely worth it. Less crowds the better. Best day in Kyoto ever and would definitely book this again. Emilien, thanks for being such a top bloke and a legend for showing me around Kyoto. You're aces in my book. Cheers buddy.

Enlightening and informative tour with Emilien

Emilien was such an amazing tour guide. He was very patient with us especially when we became lost to meet up with us.
He was very informative and the tour went smoothly with him explaining to us the origins of the gates, statues and significance of every detail places at the Kiyomizu Temple and Fushimi Inari Shrine. We were unable to go to the third place as mentioned as we were late and had another appointment to attend to, however I felt that I Emilien made the most out of the time we had and was more than happy to extend the time only if we didn't have to be with his partner Niall later that afternoon.
Emilien was very casual and allowed us to venture to places and buy souvenirs, which was great. Would love to go on another tour around Osaka with Emilien again if I was to come back to Osaka in the near future.

Thank you Emilien, from Jesslyn, Jenny and Kevin (the thee lost kids) 😁

A fantastic personal tour! Perfect time of day to see these wonderful sites!|

Niall was a great tour guide, full of knowledge and passion. He really accustomed the tour to me and it felt personable. All places that you visit are well worth the trip and the early morning just make it extra special because you avoid all the crowds. The pace of the tour is spot on and I know you will thoroughly enjoy your time with Niall and enjoy listening to his knowledge and stories. Thank you so much Niall and for going that extra mile. :)

A perfect time to see the city!

I've heard that these places are completely overwhelmed with crowds when it gets later in the day, so when I found the "Early Bird Tour" I jumped on it! So happy I did. Emilien was a wonderful guide, very engaging and knowledgable, and we were able to have a peaceful and scenic walk around some very special places (that I think are much better experienced when you have a chance to relax and take it all in). I would highly recommend this tour...don't be scared off by the early hour! In fact, it just leaves the rest of your day open to exploring even more of this wonderful city. :)

Enjoy landmarks without the masses of tourists

I'm not a morning person but this early rise was more than worth it. Just with the knowledgeable and pleasant guide and a handful of Japanese, I got to discover and enjoy in all tranquility and serenity some wonderful shrines/temples of Kyoto.

So quiet, so peacefull, the best time to explore

What an amazing experience, no crowds, no noise, just peace and quiet. You could feel and fully embrace the beauty around you. An opportunity you shouldn't let pass you by, you will not regret this tour, in fact it will be the highlight of your whole trip and you will remember it for a life time.

    Great tour

Great opportunity to see top sites in Kyoto before the crowds. Just having someone familiar with the area to guide us through the neighborhoods was just as great as seeing the top attractions of Kyoto. Great restaurant recommendations as well. Niall (our guide) is a very pleasant and fun tour guide. Would highly recommend.

    Early morning Temple run. 10/10!

Firstly, seeing Kyotos Shrines and Temples early in the morning is a fantastic idea. Depending on the season, its the difference between sharing you stroll with 2 people, or 2000. Emilien, our guide from 'Kyoto Fun' was fantastic. We spent the whole walk chatting about Japanese life, traditions and history. He took care of all the train tickets and taxi rides, we just had to follow. If I had attempted to see the Temples myself, I would have missed out on alot of great information, and fun stories. I cant recommend enough!
