Aji Rakuzan is a kappo (traditional Japanese cuisine) restaurant that has earned 1 Michelin star.
A touch of creativity graces the fundamentally traditional cooking, which is served at a comfortable pace at this kappo restaurant. Taste natural sweetfish in June, caught by the chef himself; in winter, enjoy smooth, slow-cooked ebi-imo. Only an omakase (leave it all up to the chef) menu is served. It may include anago, hamo, chub mackerel and other seasonal types of sushi. Portions are large so that customers can come with an empty stomach and a large appetite.
We recommend the counter seats where you can chat with the chef, but there is a washitsu (Japanese room) of tatami mats on the second floor. There are also table seats available.
