We offer Makie class, where guests can enjoy creating "Maki-e" art on top of the beautiful Japanese lacquer ware.

You can use the templete of traditional motifes or create your original design. The finished lacquer ware will be a great original souvenir or a perfect gift.

We were established in 1920s as a lacquer ware merchant. The current owner herself became a Makie-artist and is focusing to promote the exquisit itetraditional art in Kyoto.
