    Great time! 😆

Mr Niall is a great tour guide. We had such a great time. He showed us a lot of temples and teached us the culture in Kyoto. We visits quite a lot of places even though we were late and quite tired when we met him. The tour was relaxing and informative. He took us through not so packed road that we didn't have to squeeze our way through the crowd. We love walking through famous spot without a lot of crowd. Will definitely choose this tour again ^^

My wife and I were guided by Niall Gibson to visit Kyoto temples which were not as well traveled, but were just as beautiful as the popular tourist destinations. Niall proved to be a fount of information not just about the places we were visiting, but about the Japanese and their culture.
Having spent the last five years in Japan, Niall is on a voyage of discovery which he is happy to share with his charges.
It may seem strange to have a non-Japanese tour guide, but Niall combines a knowledge of history and culture with a perspective that we non-Japanese can understand.
We enjoyed the tour so much that we asked Niall to find a destination outside of Kyoto. He took us to Miyama--a village of thatched houses 90 minutes into the mountains.
We had a fascinating time with Niall, learned a lot, and spent time with an interesting historian and raconteur.

    Nice and easy

I was very lucky to spend a day in Kyoto with Niall. He was really helpful with organizing really unforgettable journey through the city. It was not easy to wake up at 6 to be ready for early bird tour but i appreciate now that idea of Niall. We have the best morning in Japan no crowds , nice fresh walk and great photos. Don't hesitate to ask Niall about which place is better to start which is better to skip or how to get somewhere. He gives you the best possibility to discover the city with insider but still with the person from the same cultural circle .He is experienced guide and also english teacher , so we had no problem to understand the language. His knowledge about Japanese history, culture and lifestyle is deep but not bore)) We have a lot of pleasant moments during the tour but also a lot of fun having amazing lunch together and even play on japanese drums. Thank you Niall))
