Hi! I'm Yoshi, originally from Japan. I had lived in the US for 8 year total, and experienced many things there. I like to share Japanese real culture, especially food related things, in English. So I love to take you to the Japanese grocery store, fish market, really good and cheap local restrants etc. I can even teach you Japanese language & culture, and authentic Japanese home cooking at my house! So why don' t you contact me and explore the real and fun Japanese world with me? I'm looking forward to meet you!!

Yoshi was a great host who started the experience before we arrived with helpful directions and advice before the session, we were also met at the local train station which was a great help in a new place to minimise any wasted time.

Once in Yoshi's home, we was put at ease and made very welcome in her own by introduced to her family and even having a little helper, in the form of her daughter who made the whole experience more fun and genuine.

The experience was very informative with clear instructions, printed pages and all our questions were answered so we knew how to replicate the ingredients back in the UK, so we again eat what we make!

I both enjoyed the experience and look forward to meeting Yoshi again potentially for other cooking experiences or using Voyagin website again

    Making Sukuyaki With Yoshi

Yoshi made a longtime dream of mine come true by taking me and my husband into her home and showing us the right and not at all intimidating way to make sukiyaki at home. With her lively enthusiasm she made everything seem so simple from the exact ingredients and exactly how to cut everything. And her lovely little daughter taught us how to dip the beef in egg and not be shy about eating. I'd rate this experience all stars for must do things in Kobe. Don't miss it!!!
