At the Tanesashi Natural Lawn, broad stretches of green grass reach down to the brilliant blue ocean of the Tanesashi Coast. The contrast between rugged shoreline and open swathes of blue and green makes for one of the most beautiful spots in Sanriku Fukko National Park. Stay for a night of glamping (glamourous camping) to enjoy this natural beauty and peace in maximum comfort. A large tent pitched for you, fully equipped with comfy bedding and other amenities is ready and waiting. You’ll enjoy sumptuous meals out in the open, freshly made with local ingredients. Walk the trails with an English-speaking guide. At night, lie in sleeping bags and gaze up at the stars. Or sit around the fire with a cup of mulled wine, as the sound of waves and the ocean breeze wash over you. Day 1: 15:00 — Meet at Tanesashikaigan Information Center and walk to the campsite. 15:05 — Arrive at your glamping setup on the Tanesashi Coast Camping Ground, and drop off luggage. 15:30 — Set off from the campsite on a short trekking tour. 16:30 — BBQ dinner: local beef, pork, chicken, and seafood, all grilled to perfection. Enjoy our special curry, vegetable soup, and carpaccio made with locally caught fish. Ingredients from Aomori Prefecture are used whenever possible, including Aomori Kuraishi beef, and Aomori Chamorok chicken. A drink is included, and a vegetarian menu is available on request. 18:30 — Lie down on the lawn for stargazing, snuggled up in sleeping bags with the sea breeze on your face. 19:00 — Wind down, and enjoy the glamping experience and the perfect location.
