I was born in Osaka, grew up in a suburb of Nagoya. I have been interested in food ever since.
When I was a kid, my mother was not so good at cooking. When I was in highschool, I used to make my bento myself. I've been cooking everyday for almost 40 years. After graduating from high school, I studied abroad in a college in California. Then I moved to L.A. where I met my husband who was a chief cook of a restaurant in Little Tokyo. He is so picky about food because his mother was an excellent cook. Thanks to them, I have countless recipes now.
