Hi, we are Iwan and Bahar, good friends who grew up in West Lombok in traditional Sasak villages. Bahar studied Lombok culture and history in high school while Iwan learned to be an architect. After graduation, we both worked in tourism (Bahar has a trekking and daily tour guide and Iwan as a kitchen aid!) but we always thought it was a shame that travellers never got to see the real Lombok. Hence, we decided to start our own biking company in 2009 to showcase the real heart and soul of the island to everyone. On our tours, we've developed scenic routes to weave through the backroads, where you can see beautiful rice paddies, scenic villages and observe how we locals really live.

On a recent trip to Lombok we had the pleasure of doing this escorted cycling tour through the beautiful countryside around Sengiggi. Our guide Bahar was very kind and showed us real Lombok village life. We travelled along quiet country roads and crossed small rivers, which was lovely. Would recommend to anyone looking to explore the countryside!

I had an excellent day's cycling with Bahar last week. It was a very interesting ride which took in a combination of villages, rice fields, temples and all the local sites of interest. There was also an excellent local lunch at Warung Ratna included. I had a good conversation with the owner's daughter, also named Ratna, who let me practice my Bahasa Indonesia whilst she practised her English (which was of course much better than my Bahasa Indonesia)! I would have no hesitation in recommending these guys to go cycling with!
