Description

Sumbawa is one of Indonesia's untouched gems. For 10 nights, we will cruise Sumbawa's beautiful and rugged coastline down the Alas strait, snorkel or dive beautiful reefs & a small WW2 wreck, visit the famous Princess Di waterfalls & Satonda island, its lake & fruit bat colony After exploring the Alas strait we will venture east to Moyo and Satonda islands. Moyo is home to the famous Priness Diana waterfalls where you can enjoy a refreshing fresh water swim and fly over the waterfall on a rope swing. Half of Moyo island is a nature reserve and protected in the south is a beautiful white sand beach that we named fossil beach after discovering giant fossilised corals and clams on the beach. Off Moyos west coast is the highlight of Moyos underwater world; beautiful Angel Reef suitable for divers and snorkelers alike. To the north east of Moyo is a small volcano called Satonda, this volcano was hit by a tsunami many years ago and has a wam salt water lake in its small crater. In the southern bay where we will be moored are two beautiful dive and snorkel sites, with plenty more to be found all the way around the small volcano. In the evening a fruit bat colony that lives in Satondas caves flies off on their nightly hunt at dusk, a truely beautiful sight! In the evenings we will enjoy meals on board and beach BBQs and bonfires before retiring to your cabin or pulling your mattress our on deck and sleeping under the stars to the sound of water lapping the side of the hull.
