Excellent and a lot of fun but the weather made it pretty dangerous

We had to walk 20 minutes on slippery, muddy rocks to get to the rafts. The rain from the day before made the terrain a lot more dangerous. I slipped bruised my tailbone, gashed open my elbow and the rest of my trip wasn't too enjoyable.
Overall it was a good experience however I would recommend doing this activity in the Summer season otherwise be aware of the risks.

    A great day

Terrible weather but once we finally made it down the treacherous, slip and slide of a hike down to the water (I fell and grazed my leg) :( the rest of the tour was great!!
Never once felt unsafe in the water and we went down with a lot of other rafts which you would assume would make it too crowded but in actual fact made it a million times better!! Great for beginners!!

    Fantastic trip - thoroughly recommend

This was a great trip! We all though it was one of the highlights of our holiday to Bali. Our Guide, Jordi, was fantastic and really looked after us well. There was just the right amount of excitement to feel as though you were having a bit of an adventure without any actual danger. Would thoroughly recommend. Very good value for money with the go voyaging discount too.

Fell off the raft and drifted 150m; unforgettable!

I expected some routine thrills and some splashing from the river and waterfalls today. The Ayung River had another plan for me. After smooth going for the first 40 minutes, our raft marooned on a bank of rocks. Instead of sitting still and holding on to the rope, I attempted to assist the captain (pictured with me in the photo) pull the raft off the rocks. Bad idea. A rush of water knocked me off the raft and I drifted 150m before the 9-year-old son of a snack vendor at a river bank waded out to grab my oar (which I managed to hold onto) and pull me to the river bank. A second passenger fell in shortly after me, but another raft was able to pick her up quickly. I wouldn't recommend falling off the raft (thank goodness for the life vest and the boy), but I'm looking forward to telling the story to my friends and family in Chicago!

    Active day out!!

Great experience, highly recommended. Just be aware that there are many (approx 300) steps down then up from the river. Our guide was very friendly and experienced, my 11 year old daughter and I felt very safe on our first experience water rafting.

    Amazing experience

We had a great time- pick up was prompt and the car was very comfortable. Bit nervous to hear it was 2 hours, but by the end it wasn't long enough!

Lunch afterwards was simple but very good- lots of choice.

I'll be back next time I am in Bali!

    What a wonderful experience

I was worried about this adventure at first because I'm a chicken but I'm so glad we did it. Floating down that beautiful river with the lush greenery around us was like something out of a movie. The only thing we didn't like were the hundreds of steps to and from the river. Make sure you're fit to do it.
