Hi, my name is Yogi and I've been a professional licensed tour guide since 2008. I speak English and Korean fluently, and have lots of experience hosting guests from countries such as the US, UK, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Sweden, South Africa and more. It is my personal motto to always try and go above and beyond, and to inspire my guests to come back to Bali. As a local from Lovina (north Bali), I love to share my culture with others and meet people from everywhere. Come see the northern part of Bali through my eyes!

    1. To see dolphins upclose in the wild.
    2. I got to see WILD dolphins swimming happily in the waters as a family all of them just being free.
    :')
    3. Yogi is very helpful, friendly and patient. His knowledge of Bali and culture as well as where to find the absolute best bargains!
    4. Trust Yogi! He knows best!

It was very good. The best part was the swimming with the dolphins. No point in doing it without swimming with the dolphins.

Because I really like to see dolphins, I wanted to do something in Lovina. The tour started in the middle of the night, because it’s a long drive to Lovina and we had to be there before sunrise to see the wild dolphins. We arrived around 5 am. After a nap of an hour we took the (small) boat to see the dolphins.

When someone saw a group of dolphins jumping, every boat was trying to come as close as possible. It was great to see the dolphins, there were really much and they didn’t hide their jumps and other wild skills. We
spent 2.5 hours at the boat and this was long enough. After a well deserved breakfast we went to the Gitgit waterfalls, the famous lakes and the Bratan temple. It was a good day for people who are in for a relaxing day with some cultural and natural highlights of Bali.

I've always loved dolphins so I was absolutely thrilled to see wild dolphins! It was magical setting out into the sea on the small thin local boats. The sea was so calm and quiet. When I turned around, the sun was just peaking out behind the mountains.
Soon enough though, serenity was broken with the other boats racing to see the dolphins. It was almost as if the dolphins were showing up, popping up of the water allowing us a glimpse of their beauty.
Definitely worth waking up at 3am for :)

Our guide also asked us what we would like to see on the way back so i really recommend this tour as you get to fit a few sights in one day.

Just An Overpriced And Glorified "Taxi Driver Tour"

First thing's first, I did not have Yogi as my tour guide as he was busy or something. Instead, he sent me a regular taxi driver by the name of Dewa to take me to the places in the program. At best, he was helpful at taking photographs and friendly. If you're expecting a nice tour with lots of knowledge and cultured shared, this is not it.

What this is, is a typical "snap-and-go" tour. Save yourself the money and hire your own preferred driver and tell him where to go. Much much cheaper. Also, entrance fees are not included so it feels like you're really only paying for the driver.

That aside, seeing dolphins swim freely in the ocean was a sight to behold even though we only got to see a handful due to the season or weather. Regardless of whoever you trust to take you to see them, seeing dolphins in Bali is a must.

    We had a great day

We loved to see the wild dolphins, there were really big groups of them, amazing! After that our enthousiastic guide, Yogi, showed us the hot springs, munduk waterfall, the lakes and the beautiful watertemple of lake Beratan. Yogi really knows a lot and he can teach you everything you want to know about Balinese culture. We had a great time.

Temples with Yogi and Sekumpul waterfalls with Gede Poncha

Once again another tour made better by the guides Yogi and Poncha. We made perfect timing by arriving to the temple on the lake when the water was like glass and a festival was just getting underway. We then went to the Sekumpul falls(instead of Git Git....great choice) and where toured around by a young man named Poncha who i would highly recommend seeking out. The hike and falls where breathtaking and we also got to swim under the 2 big falls and also jump off a rock into the smaller one which was great! Lovina beach was peaceful with great food to end off the day. We opted out of the dolphin tour because of the early wake up but even without this tour was truly something special.

At first, we only saw 3 dolphins, but after around 1 hour waiting patiently, we were able to see many dolphins! We were lucky, thanks to our boat captain!
At that time, Gede was our host and he is a good guy, we're thankful for his hospitality.
Hint : Make sure to keep your body fit as it's a long 14 hours trip!

Me and my parents went to bali and we engaged Yogi as our private tour guide. He was extremely helpful and spoke very good English. He picked us up at the Hotel and we explored many places around Bali. He was very knowledgeable and was very well versed with the historical places of Bali and gave us quite a good insight on the overall of Bali. Unfortunately we were unable to engage him for the second day of the tour but would definitely use his services the next time we visit Bali.

I would definitly recommend this trip to everyone who would like to see all this beautiful places in the north in one day. It is a very long day but I enjoyed every second of it. Yogi is a great host - he is very open and welcoming and made our trip to an unforgettable one. Seeing and nearly touching the dolphines at sunrise was a once in a lifetime experience.
