Description

At Side By Side Organic Farm in East Bali, we offer a variety of activities. You can sleep in nature, surrounded by fireflies at night. All food is served fresh from the farm, and is delicious. You will see rice fields surrounding you everywhere with majestic Mt. Agung in the distance. It is like living inside a postcard. From the farm, there are many nearby destinations that offer an opportunity for biking, hiking, or climbing volcanoes. There are a variety of traditional Balinese temples in the area, one is located at the top of a thousand steps, where you will be surrounded by clouds and the ever present monkeys. Or if you wish, you can take a ten minute hike over to the Water Palace Temple where you can swim and enjoy the beauty of Balinese architecture. We have an English speaking guide for any activity and pick up and delivery service in an air conditioned Kijang. "On a beautiful day in November, I visited the members of Side By Side Farm in Bali. A group of volunteers were working to make the farm a better place for visitors and for the farmers who live there. We all laughed, worked together, as the children joined in to make their first ever book shelves for a small learning area on the farm. The group ranged in age, nationality, and languages, yet when we sat down to eat a hearty organic meal prepared by the women on the farm, our language was the same - mostly the sounds of food being enjoyed and everyone seemed to know how to say, please pass me some more. It was a bright beautiful day in nature and human love surrounded me everywhere." PLEASE NOTE: If you need us to arrange transportation, please leave us a message. Lunch, dinner, and personal expenses are not included.
