Hi, my name is Nyoman and I help manage a group of experienced licensed guides here in Bail. As you have probably seen online, there are many guides available on the island, but my team prides ourselves on total guest satisfaction and are to helping you have an unforgettable trip! Personally speaking, I would say I'm a simple, easygoing person, who loves reading and writing. I have been an avid reader of history books for a long time and am actually a professional and licensed tour guide. I majored in cross culture interaction at Udayana University - the best university in Bali - and I love meeting people from all around the world. Let my team and I bring you to explore Bali the next time you are here!

    A wonderful experience.

My wife and I took this tour and we spent the day with Tude our brilliant guide. The tour is quite flexible and can be tailored to meet your needs and with Tude making great suggestions we had an excellent day. Even driving through the countryside is a great experience and we were rewarded with a look at daily life and wonderfull views.
We visited several locations with amazing views and as we are amateur photographers spent an age taking "just the right shot" . We could have visited more locations like the botanical gardens and butterfly park during the day but as we take our time taking the photos we spent some quality time at each location. As it was we stopped several times en-route, went to Bratan and saw the lake and temple, drove over the mountains to view the twin lakes of Buyan and Tamblingan with views of Lovina on the north coast in the distance, stopped for lunch, and then drove to the rice terraces at Jatiluwih and despite being overcast because of recent rain was the highlight of the day. A stunningly beautiful place.
All toll we had a great day and we would certainly book with Nyoman and Tude again and would recommend them as brilliant hosts.

    Amazing Views but Dismal Food

Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, spouting facts about each site readily. He gave us a lot of freedom to explore the attractions at our own pace and never once rushed us. Loved the little hike along the rice terraces!

Future tip: Avoid the buffets along the way and ask your guide to bring you to a traditional restaurant. The buffets were expensive (around 12USD per person) but served dismal food. The buffet place we visited even required us to pay extra to get mineral water.

Agung is an excellent guide. Knowledgeable in Balinese culture as well as other cultures.
Well spoken in English and was very considerate to our needs.

My tour guide was very fluent in English and explained some everyday activities that were carried out on the streets as we drove to different destinations, like how the little girls in the community gathered together for dance lessons while the boys met together for music lessons like learning the gamelin, He explained that most people as a sport played soccer, the worship offerings are typically made the same way, prayers they gave typically were 2 or 3 times a day; 6am, 12pm, 6pm, cremation is typically done over burial so cemeteries were not seen around. I checked out the beautiful butterfly sanctuary where you can hold some butterflies and other insects! I visited the lake and saw more temples, heard traditional music, walked amongst locals in their traditional outfits ( a bit chilly so a light jacket would have been nice). I also went to the medicinal herb and cactus gardens and rice terraces. Food wise, It was a pleasure to eat some local food buffet style and plantains as a snack. I loved drinking the local tea and drank it any time I had the chance. My phone which I used to take pictures was low battery at one point so my tour guide let me use his phone to take all the photos I wanted and he simply emailed them to me later!

We had a great day exploring Tabanan and Bedugul with Agung! We started off at the Jatiluwih rice terraces, doing a short walk, followed by a delicious local lunch. We then stopped by the Candi Kuning market, Lake Bratan and drove to a view point for an amazing view of Lakes Buyan and Tamblingan. We ended the day with Bali's famous sunset at Tanah Lot. Agung was an excellent guide and driver who shared with us his Balinese culture. He was knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to have his company. He is not just merely a driver which you would get if you hire a cheaper "tour". Agung is a licensed guide, and proper guides will wear the traditional Balinese clothing and have a badge while non-licensed guides are in their ordinary clothing. This is a tour for those who enjoy scenery and Bali is beautiful! I would highly recommend Agung to guide you for this tour! Thank you voyagin for a great tour!

Agung was very friendly and knowledgable. You can ask him any question and he will be able to answer. The itinerary was flexible and you can adjust it accordingly. We started off with rice terraces, then to a local market and finally ended off the trip with some breath taking scenery at temples. etc. Sunset at Tanah Lot Temple is a must see. The view was spectacular.

I loved Agung so much the last time I met him that this is my second trip with him. He's one of the nicest people I've met in Bali, or anywhere else, and exploring the island with him is just a real privilege. I've visited Bali so many times with drivers who claim to be "guides", but Agung is the REAL DEAL. He studies his history, literature and culture, and just being around him for a day helped me learn an incredible amount about the spirit that permeates this magical island. Visiting Bedugul with my friends was an amazing experience, and having Agung take us made it really special. Bali was different to me before I met Agung, and I would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone who comes to Bali!!!!

Agung is the nicest, wisest, kindest, most humble man I've ever met!! He's the Balinese father I wish I had. He so patiently showed us around Bedugul (amazing lake!!), shared with us the history of the sites and explained every temple procession, catered to all our demands, tried his hardest to bring us to a strawberry farm even though it wasn't season, recommended the most delicious food, shared his wisdom, and was just the most awesome guardian angel and company we could ever ask for! You can really tell how much he loves Bali and respects everyone and everything around him. Agung is truly a blessing to anyone lucky enough to meet him.

This trip with Agung was great for my first time to Bali. He was super friendly, helpful and easy to get along with. I loved the rice terraces at Jatiluwih and the lake temple was just gorgeous! Thanks Agung for recommending Tamansari restaurant too! The fried carp with sambal matur was delicious!
