Description

Traditional Balinese masks can be most commonly seen on dancers in traditional dance performances or on Ogoh-Ogohs (Balinese statues) during the eve of Nyepi. During this three-hour course, you will learn about the meaning of the different Balinese masks, while creating and coloring your own wooden mask with the help of a professional teacher. At the beginning of the class, we'll show you a list of photos from different masks and you can pick the one that you'd like to make. Once you choose the mask shape, you can decorate the mask with oil painting to bring the character to life. You can accessorize your own mask with moustache, eyebrows etc to make it even more realistic! Available: Every day at 9.30am and 1pm.
