    Night Safari

What an absolute amazing experience! Love the twist on who is in a cage. The animals roam freely and what a feeling it is to have two grown tigers roaming above you at touching distance.

amazing up close and personal with the tigers and lion.

    Expensive good and bad both!

The safari ride was good but it was expensive and there was no food included though the package had food in it.

    Mixed feelings.

The night safari itself was great, you get to feed zebras and rhinos and elephants, but not the tigers and the lionesses . Only a staff member feeds them, owing to safety reasons. That was a bit disappointing. The safari was very short, for the price that we pai, it ended in 15 min flat. We saw 6 animals and we were brought back.

Secondly there was supposed to be a walking safari, which got cancelled because it was raining. Nothing was offered to make up for that portion of the program, even though we had paid for it already.

Next there was a beautiful dance performance in an outdoor garden, which was really good. That is a must watch, in my opinion.

After the dance, came the buffet dinner, at a restaurant facing the lion enclosure, where you can see the lionesses in their natural habitat while enjoying your meal. It was quite , for lack of a better word, mesmerizing. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, which was tasty. We had foolishly ordered a coke and a local beer to go with our meal, which were ridiculously overpriced. $10 approx was a regular coke and about $40 or so for a beer. Since the prices were not shared with us when we were ordering, I felt a bit cheated and didn't appreciate the forced wastage of money. Anyway, the restaurant itself has a great ambience so it all evens out.

Tip: there are two night safaris in Bali. This one is in "bali safari and marine park" , the other one is at "bali zoo" that is half an hour way from the "safari and marine park".

They are two different things, and we had gotten confused and almost missed our safari, by reaching the zoo. Thankfully our cabbie was still around and he made us reach the right destination on time. So please be careful while booking your tickets and then reaching the correct destination.

I loved the animals and the dance, but the food service was a bit lacking. A lot of the dishes emptied out quickly but were not refilled, so Me and my husband never got to eat any dessert. There were no beverages with the buffet, except for water, anything else had to be paid for, and priced at exorbitant amounts. This did put a slight damper on our trip. But otherwise it was an interesting experience.

Close encounters were great, touching a tiger and face to face with a lioness! Unfortunately for us it was raining the night we went which cut our walk short and ruined the live show. I didnt think there was enough time to browse the souvenir shop, it was a bit rushed.

    Was expecting more

The night safari is an awesome concept with lackluster execution. The cage ride was extremely rushed. I'd say we had about 30-45 secs at each animal. The bbq buffet was quite terrible. It was just really bad.

The organizers should make groups with young children all go in the same cage so that more mature groups can enjoy the experience without having kids stepping on their feet and falling into them.

    Awe inspiring

A very nice night spent with the animal safari... Delivered on whatever they promised and much more... Choose the shuttle option as it is very convenient and pocket friendly.

    Great Night!

My partner and I attended this and we both really enjoyed ourselves! The walk around the park was great, dinner was very nice, the fire show was entertaining but our favourite part of the night was definitely feeding the zebras and elephants and having the lions jump ontop of the caged bus. Would defined recommend visiting.
