Create your own stunning dishes and live out your MasterChef dreams at Mozaic's Workshop - an elegant, modern facility tucked into the garden of our award-winning restaurant in Ubud. During this special cooking class, I will strive to help you better understand Indonesian ingredients and demonstrate how to blend french technique with Indonesian flavors, in pure Mozaic style. This 4-hour session kicks off with you handpicking your own ingredients from our very own spice garden. We then proceed to prepare these ingredients for an exquisite 3-course lunch, paired with a glass of wine. The cooking portion of your class will consist of three sections. We start out with an entree, a main, then finish off with a delicious dessert. The menu will be pre-selected and will include several of our most famous dishes. Below are some example of dishes you can enjoy learning: - Handmade Linguini, Curried Pea Ragout, Fried Curry Leaves & Tempe Crumble - Confit Coral Trout, Coriander Braised Baby Potatoes and Creme Fraiche Sambal Kecicang - Rack of Lamb, Curry Turnip & Cocoa - Low Temperature Salmon, Fresh Turmeric and Lemon Dressing with Spiced Cauliflower Walnut Salad - Roasted Pigeon in a Kluwek Infused Broth - Wagyu Beef Tenderloin, Curry Turnip & Cocoa - Fresh Seasonal Exotic Fruits Marinated in a Spiced Passion Fruit Broth, Creme Brulee and Ginger Flower Sorbet - Valrhona 'Guanaja' Chocolate Fondant, Fresh Star Fruit Sorbet & Spiced Young Star Fruit in a Coriander Seed Caramel Class hours: 12 - 4pm, Tuesday through Sunday (though we have regular sessions on Wednesday and Saturday with no minimum participants necessary)
