Excellent experience from start to finish. Our manhout was excellent and the food was good. We really enjoyed our ride on harminca playing Rio and enjoyed having are photo next to him and we were really impressed that we weren't rushed either. We were really glad to see the elephants were really well looked after. We would love to go back to bali elephant camp

I highly recommend this event, especially for the children. Jessica (our elephant) was extremely gentle. The camp does ensure the elephants are cooled off at the end of each walk. We had an opportunity to feed Jessica at the end of the tour, I would definitely do this! Althought she is a large lady she was very gentle in taking her food from us.

This was a very nice place where the elephants seem to be treated very well. The elephant handlers are very friendly and funny. The lunch was tasty here. We enjoyed the chocolate tour and you get to make your own personal bag of chocolate to take with you. Only draw back here is the flies but I heard they are bad this time of year because of mango season. We also got a surprise visit from an Indonesian Black Bear!

The pick up was around 9.30 in the morning. After 1.5 hours we arrived at the elephant camp. They had 13 elephants and our ride was with elephant Cindy. The instructor was very nice to us and was having fun with us and of course the elephants. For a small charge I fed our elephant as well and we got the opportunity to make more than enough pictures of us with the elephants. The ride was 30 minutes and afterwards we had a three course lunch and saw the chocolate factory of ‘Pod’, which was next to the elephant camp.

Our Elephant Handler Long was hilarious! He talked to us all through the ride and entertained us with his funny jokes, calling Cindy, our Elephant his second wife.
Cindy was an absolute jem and she was lovely and not to mention talented (she could play the harmonica!)

The lunch was good too and it was nice taking pictures and hugging Cindy.

    Delightful day!

    Good experience

This was our first elephant ride. It was a good experience. Our favorite part was our shuttle driver Jhon. He was very informative and a great tour guide on the way to and from the Elephant Camp.

    Recommend for the family

Our great experience was mostly due to having a great tour guide called Eko. Eko was reliable and knowledgeable and trustworthy, providing a good source of local information. He even customised our programme according to what we wanted and needed to do. He truly made our Balinese experience all the more better and I cannot recommend him enough

Fun but would advise against it

The Elephant ride was a cool experience. Our guide was friendly and had 13 years of experience with the elephants. The lunch was good, nice facilities.

That being said I would not recommend it. I'm not an elephant expert but from the research I've done, they are often mistreated. I tried to find more information about how this company treats them, but the lack of transparency doesn't make me feel comfortable. While it was a neat 30 min experience for me, the elephants do that all the time. Our elephant looked like it had scars all over its head from the goad they use to control it. And the water they wade through looked dirty.
