We are an enthusiastic team of dive professionals who have lived and worked in the area for many years. During our time in Amed and Tulamben, we realized that the area was missing a dive operation that offered services personalized to the individual diver or group. We are not here to be the biggest dive center, we are here to be the best.

At Bali Dive Trek, we love what we do. We have a deep respect for the ocean and the rich Balinese culture. Join us as we take you on a journey through the beautiful oceans of Bali.

    Excellent!

When we arrived for our day experience as a group of 3, we were a little nervous and had some worries about diving. However, everyone at Bali Dive Trek was welcoming and extremely friendly. Our instructor for the day was Ary, and he was extremely patient and reassuring. Particularly when some of us struggled with some elements of the diving in the pool session. When we were all confident enough we headed to the sea.

We went to the coral garden first which was great for us to get our confidence in the water up a little and practice what we learned earlier. We saw so many different types of fish it was amazing. Then after a break we went to the shipwreck. Because of the practice in the coral garden we were able to enjoy it a lot more since we didn't have to work so hard to concentrate on what we were doing. The shipwreck itself was amazing to see! We were able to swim through the cargo room and being amongst all the fish was amazing.
Ary was fun and reassuring throughout the whole experience, and should I ever come back to Bali and dive again, I'll most certainly be going back to Bali Dive Trek.

Incredible experience with personalised, professional instructors. Highly recommended.

I'm so glad I picked Bali Dive Trek for my first scuba diving experience. Bali is known for illegal and profit making diving centres but these guys are legit. They have a mixture of English, French and local diving experts who have dived all over the world. My day consisted of a personal instructor named Pol for a one day experience (Discover Scuba Diving). He was very thorough in the health and safety procedures before beginning my Dive. It was my first time diving and he understood I was anxious of going so he we took it slowly going through our sessions and I couldn't have asked for a better day. The whole day lasted 6 hours, they have a nice setup at their base site where food, drink and accommodation is provided at a very reasonable price. The coral reef garden and shipwreck experience is truly unique, the warm waters there felt very comforting along with another diver named Agus, a local, experienced and really lovely person who was there to assist me as well as take some great photos on their underwater camera of which they give you a copy afterwards free of charge. We had lunch afterwards and it was a brilliant day of anyone of any experience who wants to go diving.

    Awesome Dive at Tulamben!

It was a great day to dive at Tulamben. Our dive instructor, Chad, was experienced and really fun to dive with. The Liberty Shipwreck was definitely a highlight of this trip. I saw plenty of nudibranches, huge pufferfish and parrotfish. I'd highly recommend diving at Tulamben!

EXCELLENT Dive center, AMAZING Experience !

This was definitely the highlight of my trip! Chad, the instructor, explained us the safety procedures and trained us in the pool first in order to refresh my memory. My last dive was 2 years ago. Then we went to Tulamben to see the Liberty Shipwreck, an incredible dive! We literally visited the shipwreck being able to go swimming inside it among the fish! Bali Dive Trek is a very professional dive center, with a very good instructor who will made us have an amazing time during the day. AND we had pictures for free included in the Voyagin offer!

    Great Dive

The instructors were great and the dive was really fun. Unfortunately, the instructor lost the underwater camera so we didn't get any photos to remember our experience.

I had an amazing day with instructor Max. I am not a good swimmer but Max was patient enough to take me through the procedures and the 1 hour tryout before we headed out to the beach. It was my first dive and so I was a bit nervous but Max helped me to stay calm and take it on. The water was murky and the visibility wasn't that great but I felt safe through out the dive. It felt great to see the corals, the fish, the shipwreck from close quarters. The experience has opened up a new door for me as I am planning to go for PADI certification in summer.

The Liberty Shipwreck dive in Tulamben is absolutely amazing. It was my first time doing a dive at a wreck, and the first sighting of the ship is mindblowing. You get to go through parts of the ship and swim around the coral that has grown on the wreck. The fish and coral are so colorful and fun. Bali Dive Trek, the dive host, has terrific instructors who care about safety, professionalism, and making sure you see interesting wildlife. As an open water diver, they never took me beyond my 18m limit, and explained all the safety procedures. They showed me fish, shrimp, barracuda, sting ray, stone fish, lion fish, and many others. They were also really patient with my friend who had never swam or dived before, and helped her with a pool session, even though ultimately, she did not feel comfortable diving. They also are accommodating of different needs such that I could go with my friend, even though I was certified open water and she was not.

I felt very safe with my instructor Alexis, and so much so that I decided to come back to Amed and do another advance course with them. Several other guests also started with a few dives and then decided to do more dives with Bali Dive Trek because they are very good. It is run by a French guy, Antoine, and most of the instructors are French who speak very good English.

We wanted to do something active in Bali.
We've never experienced diving before, so this was an offer we couldn't let go.
Our favorite part of the experience was the actual diving in the shipwreck. There were a lot of other divers, but that didn't bother us at all (we weren't interrupted, or we didn't see them at all).
We saw a lot of sea life! We swam between the fish (and have found Nemo!) and the wreck was amazing.
Jérôme was our instructor, he did his very best to make us comfortable with the material and diving. While diving he showed some details we wouldn't have seen. He's the one that made our day by making all this possible.
I can't say anything negative .. It was amazing!
