You alight at the JAWAI Baandh station if travelling by train or at the Jodhpur/ Udaipur airport. You will be met by our representative. Our representative will escort you to your place of stay. Welcome and registration, you can have refreshments and retire to your room for freshening and a rest. Later you can meet your hosts, get to know them. Lunch will be the family.
Galthani, a village in the Pali district, embodies even today, in the 21st century, all the elements that made a village in ancient times a self reliant unit. The village itself has grown in proportions and population today, but still retains the old architecture homes, the narrow lanes. You will be a part of the village community for the next 3 days. After tea, you will depart for leopard sighting. Late evening back to the village for dinner.
Today the day is spent in the village.You will be taken on a conducted tour of the village. You will get to understand the story behind the functioning of the village. You will meet the important persons of the village, the movers and shakers – the potters, embroidery workers, the carpenters, school teachers and many more. Interact with them; learn the various traditional ways of cooking class. Evening, participate in a folk lore performance.
Early morning rise, after breakfast depart for Ranakpur, the exquisite carved Jain Temples. Today you will have a village lunch in a place called Bhanpura. Bhanpura is known for its Persian wheels still in use for irrigating the fields. After a lunch of Makke Ki Roti, Batuaye Ki Kadhi And Saag, you take your afternoon nap on the charpayi under the mango tree. Have tea and leave for Kumbhalgarh Fort, a magnificent fort nestling in the Aravalis, the oldest mountain range in the world and probably the most beautiful. Visit the fort and see the Sound And Light Show. You return back to your stay in time for dinner.
After breakfast, bid goodbye to your hosts and proceed for your onward journey
