Soak up one of the world’s most iconic urban skylines from the comfort of the handsomely restored Aqua Luna Hong Kong Chinese junk boat, gracefully cruising Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour. This harbour cruise presents a priceless photo opportunity to see the shimmering lights of downtown Hong Kong after nightfall from the best possible perspective – right on the water. The bright crimson red traditional sails of the timber made Aqua Luna vessel marks a compelling contrast with the ultra modern skyline that gloriously lights up the night sky.
Enjoy sublime views of Hong Kong Island, Victoria Peak and the Kowloon skyline while the city's soaring skyscrapers sparkle in a kaleidoscope of colour. This cruise gives you a front row seat to a memorable Instagram moment and there is no better place to kick back and sip a cocktail in comfort. The boat has 1,500 square feet of elegant space to recline in the lower cabin or soak up the breezy view on the open air observation deck. Monday to Friday afternoons, join the Harbour Discovery Tour, Hong Kong's only 'hop on-hop off' tour of the harbour and a great way to explore its attractions. Visit the Avenue of the Stars, the famous Golden Bauhinia, the vibrant Hung Hom neighbourhood and the Maritime Museum (enjoy free entry with your aqua luna ticket). Aqua Luna does a circuit every hour so if you hop off you can hop on again later.
Stanley village on the southside of Hong Kong Island is a favourite destination for visitors and locals alike. Shop at Stanley's colourful market, have lunch at its bustling waterfront cafes, visit the Chinese Tin Hau Temple and enjoy the grandeur of colonial Murray House. Every Saturday and Sunday, Aqua Luna takes you on a 90 minute cruise of Hong Kong Island to show you the delights of Stanley.
Evening harbour cruises lasting around 45 minutes set sail from Tsim Sha Tsui and Central piers beginning at 6.30pm, 8.30pm and 9,30pm with the option of an earlier sunset sailing. There is also an extra late night cruise at weekends. Additionally, a 7.30pm sailing takes in Hong Kong’s famous Symphony of Lights, an epic multimedia show with laser beams and searchlights synchronised perfectly to music and insightful narration. The dazzling multicoloured hues soar into the sky and reflect on the surface of the water. It is the largest permanent light show of its kind in the world. Aqua Luna also offers a dinner and Symphony of Lights cruise package finishing off with a sumptuous 10-dish signature menu after the cruise. Monday to Sunday evenings, Aqua Luna runs 45 minute cruises on Hong Kong harbour including the famous Symphony of Lights at 7.30pm/7.45pm and a Sunset Cocktail cruise from 6.30pm/6.45pm. Guests enjoy a complimentary drink as they relax on the lounge beds and take in the sights and sounds of Hong Kong’s stunning skyline.
The Aqua Luna exudes the timeless elegance of a bygone age with refined dark wood panelling. Constructed painstakingly using traditional shipbuilding methods dating back generations, it is surprisingly spacious and able to accommodate up to 80 passengers in utmost comfort. Soft lighting and comfy loungers make for a very refined ambience, enhanced by cool cocktails and snacks available throughout the cruise.
